Nøkken is an interactive educational game where you can walk around in a hand made environment and learn about the Norwegian folklore figure; Nøkken. I used realistic organic elements such as twigs, flowers, plasticine and dirt that were created through photogrammetry. I wanted to convey a surreal style that matched how I percieved the aesthetics of the folklore Nøkke. I explored using different sizes and compositions in Unreal Engine 4 to create a dream like experience. I overcame many obstacles in this solo project and had to explore areas I had never worked in before.
